Refund & Return Policy

Thank you for shopping at IndigoEbike (https://indigoebike.com/). We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our electric vehicles, motors, and conversion kits. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Please read our cancellation, return, and refund policies carefully before making a purchase.

1. Order Cancellation

  • Before Shipment: You can cancel your order for a full refund within 24 hours of placing it, provided the order has not been shipped or entered the fulfillment process. Please contact us immediately at amy@indigoebike.com to request a cancellation.
  • After Shipment: Orders cannot be canceled once they have been shipped from our factory or overseas warehouses. If you refuse delivery upon arrival, you will be responsible for the original shipping costs, return shipping fees, warehouse operation costs and any applicable restocking fees (see Section 3).

2. Return Eligibility Window

We offer a 7-day return policy, which means you must request a return within 7 days of receiving your item. Once your return request is approved by our team, the item must be shipped back and the tracking number provided to us within 7 calendar days; otherwise, the return authorization will expire.

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • The item must be completely unused, unridden (for e-bikes, e-scooters), uninstalled (for motors/kits/parts), and in the same condition that you received it. The odometer on electric bicycles must show 0 miles/km.
  • It must be in its original packaging, including the heavy-duty box, foam padding, zip ties, and all manuals, tools, chargers, and accessories. You’ll also need the original proof of purchase.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

1) Product from Unauthorized Reseller
2) The damage is caused by human
3) Special order
4) Giveaways or free items
5) Online sale accessories (including fenders, gift box, rack bag, helmet, controllers, phone mount, air compressor, waterproof cover, lock, rear view mirror etc.)
6) Extra purchased accessories (If you purchase after-sales accessories from INDIGOEBIKE directly, please make sure it is the part you need before purchasing from us.)

3. Return Shipping Costs & Restocking Fees

  • Returns Due to Quality Issues: If the item arrives damaged, defective, or you received the wrong item, please contact us at amy@indigoebike.com immediately so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You must provide your order number and sufficient photo/video evidence. Our technical support team will review the issue within 24-48 hours. For minor damages, cosmetic imperfections (such as minor scratches), or replaceable component issues that do not affect the core safety and functionality of the product, our standard and primary solution is to provide free replacement parts or local repair subsidies. Enforcing a return of the entire product for minor component issues is not accepted. If our technical team determines a full product return is necessary, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.
  • Returns Due to Personal Reasons (No-Quality Issues): If you wish to return an item due to personal preferences (e.g., “buyer’s remorse”, “changed my mind”, “wrong size/model ordered”), you (the buyer) will be responsible for the actual return shipping costs to our designated overseas warehouse (US/EU).Additionally, 15% of the replenishment cost will be deducted from your final refund to cover the costs of inspection, re-packaging, and re-stocking. Items returned with signs of riding, mileage, or missing original packaging elements will be rejected or subject to a higher depreciation fee (up to 50%) based on our warehouse inspection.

4. Refunds and Processing Time

  • Inspection: Once your return is received at our warehouse, our technicians will inspect it within 3–5 business days to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria.
  • Approval & Notification: We will notify you via email once we have inspected your item and let you know if the refund was approved or rejected.
  • Refund Credit: If approved, your refund will be processed automatically, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment (PayPal or Credit Card).
  • Timeframe: PayPal refunds usually appear within 1–2 business days after processing. Credit card refunds may take 5–10 business days depending on your card issuer’s policies.
